At One with the Earth - The Post Flood Covenant Between Our Living-Animal Soul (Nefesh Chaya) and the Divine

Earthly destruction, such as The Flood, will never happen again if we keep the covenant between the Divine and our Animal-Living Soul, Nefesh Chaya. (Genesis 9:12)

The Zohar, R. Gikatillia and R. Isaac Luria give of their wisdom regarding our responsibility to be At One with the earth, plants and animals, so as to stave off natural disaster. This is the covenantal promise made after Noah’s ark rediscovered dry land.

Thru text study and discussion, we delve into and enliven, teachings about our intrinsic connection to all life on earth as well as to the life principle in the divine worlds – El Chai, the Chayot ha-Kodesh angels and the divine faces: Eagle, Ox, Lion and Human-Angel of the Cherubim.

In the past, Jewish wisdom focussed more on our Divine Soul, Neshamah, now it is time to rediscover our Living Soul, Nefesh Chaya, and harmonise with our early nature.
