Dirshuni, contemporary women's midrash by Israeli women, this summer published a single-volume version in English that includes many of their most popular works. Several focus on telling eve's story from perspectives; feminist, Israeli, and contemporary. We will study several, using both the English translation and the original Hebrew for reference. All discussion and readings will be in English.
Rabbi Jennifer Singer has been the spiritual leader of Congregation Kol HaNeshama in Sarasota, Florida for more than nine years. She is an ALEPH alumna as both Rabbi and Spiritual Director. She is immediate past president of the Sarasota-Manatee Rabbinical Association and a member of the Sarasota Federation's CRC.
