For the first time, you will have the opportunity to add Purchase Protection to your Shabbaton and OHALAH Conference registration. You may Opt-In to this coverage toward the end of the registration form. This important offering provides up to a 100%* refund of your registration purchase should you be prevented from attending due to a qualifying unforeseen circumstances for a small fee at the time of registration (amount based on total registration cost).Please note that this optional coverage applies to your REGISTRATION FEE ONLY and does not cover hotel or transportation purchases.
Purchase Protection MUST BE ADDED at the TIME OF YOUR REGISTRATION. Purchase Protection CANNOT be added after your registration has been completed. This is a requirement from Purchase Protection LLC, and OHALAH cannot make any exceptions to this requirement.

CANCELLATION POLICY Cancellations must be received in writing to [email protected] and are subject to the following conditions per registration:
Through November 10, 2025 - FULL refund less a $50 cancellation fee (Shabbaton Only: $25 fee, full refund) November 11 through December 10, 2025 - 75% refund less a $100 cancellation fee (Shabbaton Only: $50 fee, full refund) December 11 through December 19, 2025 - 50% refund less a $150 cancellation fee (Shabbaton Only: $75 fee, full refund) NO REFUNDS will be made for cancellations on or after December 20, 2025
NOTE: To change from an in-person registration to online you must cancel your in-person registration by sending an email to [email protected] and then re-register as an online attendee. All cancellation fees explained above apply.
FINANCIAL AID
Financial aid is available for the OHALAH Conference ONLY and is only available to OHALAH CLERGY OR STUDENT MEMBERS. THE FINANCIAL AID APPLICATION IS INCLUDED IN THE REGISTRATION FORM. The maximum amount of financial aid that may be awarded is: $680 for Clergy Members and $570 for Student Members. A $100 deposit at the time of registration is REQUIRED for ALL registrants, even if you are applying for financial aid. What is included in Shabbaton Registration?
Your registration fee includes participation in Shabbaton activities from Friday evening through Sunday morning including all Davvenen/Services as well as the AOP Smicha Ceremony and Reception on Sunday afternoon. Meals included with registration are: Shabbat Dinner, Shabbat Breakfast, Shabbat Lunch, and Sunday Breakfast. All other meals are considered on your own - there is a restaurant on site at the hotel, multiple restaurants within a five minute drive, and most food delivery apps are available. ACCOMMODATIONS ARE NOT INCLUDED - Please remember to make your hotel reservation.
What is included in OHALAH Conference Registration?
Your registration fee includes participation in OHALAH Conference activities beginning with the Sunday dinner through the Closing Program on Wednesday night. Activities include all Davvenen, Conference Workshops, applicable Plenaries and Meetings, and - new for this year - ALL MEALS. We are pleased to include Dinner on Sunday night and then Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. ACCOMMODATIONS ARE NOT INCLUDED - Please remember to make your hotel reservation.
What is included in Smicha Ceremony Only Registration? This registration category includes entrance to the SMICHA CEREMONY AND RECEPTION ONLY. It is intended for family and friends of students receiving Smicha as well as AOP faculty and staff and ALEPH community members. This registration category DOES NOT INCLUDE MEALS OR DAVVENEN. If you would like to participate in meals or davvenen, you MUST register for the AOP Shabbaton.
What is the exact location/name of the hotel for these events?
For security reasons, we are not publicizing the exact location of the events. After completing your registration, your confirmation email will include the HOTEL Information and the link to make your reservation.

I am a member of the AOP VAAD, Faculty, or Staff? Please contact Stephanie Buncher for instructions on how to register.
I am a current AOP or other Seminary Student? If you are an OHALAH Student Member, please register as an OHALAH Student Member. If you are not a member, please register as a Student Non-Member.
I want to just attend Shabbat Davvenen/Services? To attend Shabbat events of any kind, you MUST REGISTER for the Shabbaton. Even without meals, there is a cost to creating these amazing experiences throughout Shabbat and we cannot breakout costs by activity.
Can I add the Dinner on Sunday evening to my Shabbaton Registration?
Unfortunately, we cannot add individual meals to any registrations at this time. There is a restaurant on site at the hotel, multiple restaurants within a five minute drive, and most food delivery apps are available.
