Health and Hygiene Policy
We are committed to creating a conference where our members can gather for inspiration, learning, and connection. While taking part in travel and gatherings assumes acknowledged risks, we endeavor to promote health and safety at all our events. By caring for one another’s health and wellbeing, we express our values of chesed and kavod. OHALAH 2025 will follow current CDC guidelines at the time of the meeting and any applicable protocols required by our venues, state, and local governments.
Covid Tests: Required
All attendees are required to take the following Covid tests and show negative results:
1. Take the first 24-48 hours prior to arrival. Take a photo of the results.
2. Take the second Covid test upon arrival and take a selfie with your test to present it at the registration desk.
3. If attending both Shabbaton and Conference – do the same procedure on Sunday prior to the Conference start.
Masking Policy: Optional, but Encouraged in Public Indoor Spaces
We understand and respect that some OHALAH 2025 participants choose to wear masks in public indoor spaces. We want all attendees to feel comfortable and safe and we welcome your choice to bring and wear a high quality face mask to protect yourself or others. Extra face masks will be provided at the registration desk daily to encourage wearing them in public spaces in order to further protect our most vulnerable members.
In addition, there will be a masks-only section in the large ballroom for members who do not want to share space with those who are not wearing masks, and workshop leaders can require their participants to mask. Take-out boxes will be available for members who would like to eat in their rooms. There will also be three Corsi-Rosenthal air filters operating throughout our public spaces compliments of COVID-Safe Colorado.
Vaccination: Attendees are strongly encouraged to be up to date on recommended vaccinations for flu, covid, TDap, RSV as appropriate, etc. at least 2 weeks prior to the conference.
Clean Hands: Hand Sanitizers will be placed in public areas and by the washing station. Participants are encouraged to regularly wash and disinfect their hands, particularly before sharing objects (such as netilat yadayim).
Do not attend the conference if you are experiencing COVID-19, flu or upper respiratory symptoms. We will refund registration fees for health reasons. If you become ill during the conference, please quarantine in your room and contact our Administrator, Denise Casey, at 443-695-9264.
